AAAO -- Paddy's Gang, 1986

Among the many fellows who were already settled into 1/39 Infantry by the time I arrived in Baumholder in 1986 were LT Ed Shackett and LT Randall Alexander. We were never in the same companies together, and I didn't know them well.

The grapevine tells me that Ed Shackett left the Army and ended up managing a business in South Carolina.

I also heard that Alex spent some time in the Saudi Arabia (pre-9/11) working in engineering and doing very well.
