1/39 Infantry: A Few More Names

Here are a few more names of fellows who were in 1/39 Infantry back at the end of the 1980s:

1LT Nick Quintana
1LT Eric Whitmore
1LT Ken Evans

All three of them arrived in Baumholder before the redesignation to 4/12 Infantry.

AAAO: In Baumholder, Around 1987, The S-4...

...was 1LT Kirk Haschak. A (very late) copy of the Army Times tells me that as of December 2005 he was on the O-6 list. Evidently he was also the Defense Attache to Belarus at one point, and more recently spent some time at the Marshall Center down in Garmisch.
