Just following up on the earlier posting re Thomas Stathes, here's some of his work from Paddy's Gang back in 1946.

I'm sending you some cartoons from my father's collection. He was there in 1946, 39th Infantry Regiment. We have portions of the 39th Infantry Regiment newspapers also.
