SP5 Donald Overland, 1/39 Infantry: Worms and Baumholder 1966-1968

Don Overland recently dropped us a line about his days in Paddy's Gang:

I was first in Worms for about a month, then moved to Baumholder from around May 1966 to March 1968. I was in 1st of the 39th, Company C headquarters platoon. I worked in the Radio room keeping all the radios up and running.

Have kept in touch with Richard Semour. He was the driver of our APC.

I have some pictures if there is anyone out there who was there between 1966 to 1968?

If anyone out there remembers Don, or any of the fellows he mentioned from the 1st Battalion, 39th Infantry, please drop a line! And feel free to send in digitalized photos -- I'm happy to publish them.

By the way, here's a first and a second Web Beacon post about other fellows who served with Paddy's Gang in the mid-1960s.

AAA-O!

p.s. You can add your name to the roster now!

Done.

There's a recent email from another Worms-era 39th Infantry vet which I haven't processed yet, so watch your mailbox.
