Later on, Ed Marsh was with the Mortar Platoon during 4/12 Inf (M) days at H D Smith Barracks, Baumholder FRG.

p.s. that 4.2" mortar you see in the foreground was made by Westinghouse during the Korean War, and although I never went back through the logs I wouldn't be surprised if they'd seen some real action between 1950 and 1989.

Just posted a photo of Jim Lee over at the 4/12 Inf (M) web beacon. Jim was with us in 1/39 Inf (M), and there's a chance that the photo was actually taken before the change of colours.

Over at the 4/12 Inf (M) web beacon I just posted a photo and brief note on three fellows who were with us, if memory serves, from 1988 through the redesignation in 1989: 4/12 Inf (M): Torbert, Whitmore, Keller .

Roger was with us for the redesignation to 4/12 Inf (M).
