Sgt Andrew Foster, CSC and HHC 1/39 Inf (M), 1983-1985

I'm back-posting this set of three messages in July 2025 from SP4 / SGT Andrew Foster, who was with CSC and HHC 1/39 Inf from 1983-1985.

CSC 1/39, got there march 83 4.2 plt. Moved to HHC in July as 1SG Price's company clerk. He sent me to the E-5 board and PLDC. Got promoted to E-5 Jan 84 and drove a jeep for Hardrock. April, just before Graf, went back to the 4.2 mortar platoon as an FDC computer. May went to BNCOC. Made it through Reforger 85 and left shortly after.

Hey SSG Crawford. I have a few pictures of you when I first got there in Mar 83, and some from Graf/Hfels. I was a SP4 and you were my squad leader. I wound up getting promoted to E-5, went to BNCOC, signed for HQ45 and became an FDC computer, and running the section when short handed. Took a lot of pictures while I was there. 

Brian [Baumgartner], you drove a jeep, right? I drove for 1SG Price. Also drove on those jeep trips to the Fulda area and 3 weeks at the West/East Border. Got a few pictures of you.
