This is actually my Uncle. He was KIA outside of St. Lo in northern France. The family has very little information surrounding his death or activities leading up to that time. I would very much like to find surviving members of his Company that may have any recollection either of him or of the Companies activities at that time.AAAO!
As a side note, I have visited the Brittany American Cemetery recently and have pictures on a number of the headstones for the 39th if you think anyone would be interested. I also have a Youtube video of the cemetery and my uncles stone in specific. http://www.youtube.com/user/mb21784#p/a/u/1/8YD4k7grVYU
Any information or direction that you can provide would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
Mike Barker
